ive been doing visual basic for a while and i heard that asp is sort of like visual basic.. i was wondering if anyone could through me a few good links to help me learn the diffrences and what not and give me a stepping stone to get started.. and help is much appreciated!... thanks! in the begining man created code.

thanks yep checked yr site out already very nice but i fear i must start off even further back then your tutorials? but yr dll tut will come in handy for sure once i learn what the hell im doing hehe just hope i can do atleast half the stuff i can in vb.. lala in the begining man created code.

You can't do everyting with ASP that you can do with Visual Basic. ASP is the scripting language and just the syntax is similar. The name of the script is called VB Script. One for stand-alone apps while other is for web apps. But you can write DLLs/ActiveX controls in Visual Basic to utilize ASP better.
