Hi

I have found resources for building a search engine using ASP and access. However they all search one word per table. Does anyone have any resources so I can search a string of words that are in a table? I tried Macromedia Ultra but this only works with one word, if you add other words it doesnt work.

If you're looking for something to search out strings in your database, here is a good discussion that a couple folks had about it a few days back -- thread701-68548

I could tell you what to do with SQL Server to do that, but not sure about Access. If I may, though, if that thread doesn't answer your question thoroughly enough, and no one else posts here, I would highly suggest the Access Queries forum. They have some good people over there.

Even though you're apparently using ASP, the queries will be the same.

good luck! :)
