Hi all,
I'm a new to Norstars, but I'm figuring things out as I go. I can't however figure out how to config a button on a set (M7208) to call vmail (F981). I tried going in as installer, to the particular set and button prog, but when I list features F981 is not on the list and I can't key it in. I can do Feature981 from keypad without a prob, but I wanted to program a button for it. It's a MICS 4.1 with NVM 4. Your help is greatly appreciatted. Lou

Sorry I messed up on the subject I was thinking of some other isue.

Feature *3 is the feature code for programming a button with a specific feature.

Press feature *3 select the button you want to make a open voice mail button and press it.

Enter feature key plus 981.

You will then see programmed appear in the display.

That button is now a open VM button.

Feature *0 is button inquire in case you want to check your work.

Note*** You can/t program over line appearences and intercom buttons.

Thanks a lot. I walked over to the physical phone and completed the button prog for F981. I guess these specific (vm-related?) feature programming tasks can only be done at the phone. Thanks for your help.
