I have an ASM using for outbound faxes. I'm trying to pull Line Pool A without dialing the pool access code (9) The port is set for access to pool A, prime line set to pool A. When going off hook I still get system dial tone and have to dial 9 to access the pool. I have also tried assigning the lines (appear only) to the port as well. Any ideas?

does this system have a PRI?
If T-1 or copper trunks, go to HOTLINE for that extension and set to external, Pool A, or whatever pool your lines are in A,B,C ect.

When you set Prime Line in Line Access then you can also just set Eternal Hotdial to Pause (F78)
