When you ask a question, it's helpful to say what version of the application you're using and what OS you're using it on.

There can be a big difference between something like version 1 and version 4.

Likewise, things work differently on Windows and Mac. A Mac user might give a Windows user unheplful advices and visa-versa

Oh, and don't be scared to look at the help info that comes with the programs
