Asking for parameter value for each page of report

Hello,
I am a new member, so bare with me. I am currently developing a database to keep track of A/R. I have one report (the actually statement sent) that has 2 subreports (one for payments and one for invoices). This report is based on 2 queries. Each of the queries has a parameter value. The parameter value is text. It is the same for all vendors. When I open the report, it askes me for the parameter values. But instead of just asking 2 times, it asks me 2 times for each page of the report. I am stuck. Does anyone know what is going on.

I suggest that you use a text box on a form for your parameter. A prompt like:
[Enter Starting Date]
might be replaced by
Forms!frmYourForm!txtStartDate
