ASIQ Backup from raw device

I've got a 400GB raw device used by 1 IQ database.
Now I need to apply a decent backup solution for that...

Anyone knows how incremental backup would be handled in this case (using NetBackup for instance) ? Does it always proceed with the full device to backup or is the agent smart enough to choose and transfer only the necessary blocks inside?
