ASE Open Client cannot read chinese character

I am using ASE Open Client 11.9.2 connecting to ASE12. In my application, the chinese character cannot be displayed with the following message:

2403 Select error: WARNING! Some character(s) could not be converted into client's character set. Unconverted bytes changed to question marks('?').

The character set of ASE12 is CP850. How can I read Chinese in my application.
