Hello,

I Work with ascom IP DECT with 1 mobility , 1 PARI , 3 Master DECT.
The Mobility is on VLAN 1
The PARI is on VLAN 1
The MASTER is on VLAN 1, 2 and 3
The IPDECT IPBS (Bornes in french) are on diferenr VLAN (10, 11, 12)
at the first initialisation the IPBS IP DECT use multicast 224.0.1.41 Gatekeeper discovery --> this multicast is not allowed on our network beetwen diferent VLAN. My customer don't want to open multicast.

I want use DHCP(Win 2003) to give the Gatekeeper(PARI) to the IPBS
do you know the option on DHCP for give the GK?
is it option 43? (specific class vendor)

Thanks for help

Best regard

I think that without multicast the network will not work as the IPBS will not detect each other for handover etc.
Have you tried contacting Mitel support for assistance?

I Have only the pb with the first initialisation of IPBS
If I put the IP@ of Pari in the IPBS, It' s OK but I have 700 IPBS ;-)
so I want to use DHCP to learn the gatekeeper but I don't know the request option

for exemple (but for innovaphone option 200)

You could try DHCP option 140 as this is what Mitel uses for the DeTeWe IP dect Mobility Master
I have not seen an option for H323 Gatekeeper as this is normally multicast.
