My application must display the yen symbol (ASCII) while running in Simplified Chinese XP Windows. I am using Visual Fox Pro 7.o English version. My application's tables have the code page 936 (Simplified Chinese). So far I can't display the yen currency symbol ¥ (alt + 157 in English Windows) using alt + 165 in Chinese Windows and Visual Fox. I get the symbol with only one horizontal line. If I type alt + 165 in the Notepad in Chinese Windows, the yen currency symbol displays OK.
What can I do?
Thank you for your help.

Or more exactly what font are you using? Not all fonts will show the Yen symbol - especially as alt+157. Note: Why Yen and Simplified Chinese?
