Ascending Sort in Report not working

Hi
I have a report based on a query. In the query I have a number of fields. One of these is an enrolment number and I have it set to sort ascending. Everything works fine. I then have a report that runs and it is based on the query. Whenever I run it I find the enrolment number are not sorted and yet it is the same query running.

Can any one assist?

Sort order in report is not depeandant the sort order of the underlying query, in report design view see view\sorting and grouping menu option
