Hello,
I apologize for my bad english.
I have a problem with the ASBCE and J179 phones as a remote worker. OneX Mobile and Equinox via ASBCE also work with VOIP mode (TLS and SRTP).
The J179 phone fetches the config file and the extension and the user logs on to the IPO via the ASBCE. Incoming calls work. But if you want to make an outgoing call from this phone the following happens.
The first time you dial a phone number, the phone immediately goes back to sleep. In the monitor under SIP Phone Status pull the security from best effort to disable switch. In the SSA, media security is disabled due to network issues. I dial now again, the phone hangs up and the extension is logged off in the IPO and the SSA is the extension was not registered due to a protocol error. After that, only a restart of the phone helps.
This error is always repeatable. Can someone give me a hint here?
I do not understand where the difference is between a J179 and the Equinox client. Both talk SIP.
Thanks
