Hi,

I have not done patching before and using the GUI I used the .tar and the .asc file to update the SBCE.

After the upgrade, everything looked good but none of the phones would connect.

Phones using TLS were generating incidents saying self-signed cert used as the reason why they were blocked. Even though I don't use a self-signed cert.

Phones not using TLS failed registration. They got 100 trying and that was it.

Do you think I should not go from .0 to .9 and instead go to earlier patches and work up?

Is the cert thing a bug? Or a new feature?

Many thanks!

Dunno...

What kind of phones?

And in your TLS server config, is peer verification required/optional/or none?

I had a beef with the AAfD where if it was optional, AAfD would send some default cert from the SIP SDK that expired in 2006 and it wouldn't work unless I set it to none.

traceSBC and watch the handshakes.

Hi thanks for the response. It's set to required.

Where do I get the pre-check upgrade file as well? I couldn't find it on support.avaya?
It mentions running it but the file is nowhere to be found.

many thanks!
