I have ASA device with a DMZ. The Lan subnet is 172.16.19.X and the DMZ subnet is 192.168.2.X.
I have Virtual Server with an IP in the 172 range and a Virtual Machine on that server with an IP in the 192.168.2 network.

Everything in the 172 range can authenticate on the domain. I can get a Windows 7 laptop in the DMZ (with a 192 address) to authenticate also. I can't get the server (Windows Server 2008) to authenticate using domain credentials. I thought I have the appropriate ports open but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

You don't open ports for the LAN to communicate with the DMZ. Why is your server on the LAN, but the virtual machine in the DMZ? You also said everything in the LAN can authenticate to the domain, except the DC itself...right? Which is on the LAN...right? That's a Windows problem, not the firewall. I am not a Windows dude, nor can you convince me to become one of "them"...
