Does the R8 ACS support this card?
I have (2) inbound telco lines (caller ID provisioned only)and I need to have an auto attendant answer with a message and then park the call at extension 10 or 11 and wait for an operator to answer.
It would be nice to repeat the message at intervals of 10 seconds or so until the operator answers so the calling party knows they are still in the que.

If this card does not work in this version can anyone suggest a card that will work? I have read that small VM cards are possibly noisy, if so, would a full size VM cage be better with a VM module installed in it?
Thanks for your help.

ASA/DXD will work with an R8. If you need the call to hear MOH while waiting for x10 to answer, then this card can do it.

I don't believe there is any message repeat function for the voicemail announcement function. MOH is not that type of function. The Partner has no "call parking" feature only a hold feature. You might want to read the Partner Installation, Programming, & Use document. It gives good descriptions of how the features work. You can download it and any others from support.avaya.com for free.
