Is anyone paying maint. on DSA/ASA. We just got a bill for $30 per month. I think that's rediculous.

This is the first time I've seen the bill, and we're paying close to $60k for a G3si with Intuity and CMS. Personally I believe that's about $20k too high...

Any thoughts,
Chris

I personally have never had to or heard of anyone having to pay RTU’s on ASA or DSA. I usually get ours for free when we do upgrades of our software. As for the maintenance end, that would depend on the package that you have in place. Personally I have found the 7/24 maintenance to be to much for way to little. You need to research what maintenance program is in place. From there you may decide that T&M may be a better deal for you, but again that is going to depend on what you need and what you are willing to pay.

You shouldn't be paying any maintenance on ASA/DSA,,,,it's only a software package. In fact, AVAYA Maintenance doesn't even use it,,,they use a terminal emulator

I'm with mikeydidit, we get it free with upgrades and never paid maintenance, rdoranjr is right, when the dial in they use the emulator.

Thanks all for the info.

I'm going to try and get an MRA on this. Considering they've been paying on it for over 3 years... hopefully we can recover @ $1000 bucks or so.

Not a big deal, but every penny helps.

Thanks,
Chris
