Since we started to use SSH with ASA (5.2 - 5.2.13 SP2.02) on our upgraded CM (R015x.02.0.947.3), work in ASA tarted getting interupted by message "Connections error: No ports available." after about an hour of inactivity.

Whatever I set into idle disconnect (advanced) connection property the behaviour of Site Administration remains the same.

Any ideas - is this a feature of SSH or any kind of bug?

This is not an issue with ASA. Check the system maintenance for "Command Time-out". If a terminal sits with no activity for the timer time, the system will disconnect the terminal.

Thanks,

I didn't know this option, but there it's set to 120 minutes and ASA disconnects after 30-60 minutes of inactivity.

Hi, Just wondering if you got a resolution to this as I am also having the same problem. I checked the setting and also show 120 minutes but since upgrading ASA it times out. Mine disconnects after only a few minutes. Please ley me know and thank you for any help.
Cindy :)

If you use GEDI instead of the Terminal emulator it seems to stay up.

I do use GEDI and it use to stay up. My co worker uses Terminal Emulator and he always has had a problem and I never did. But now mine just times out all the time hope someone has a resolution. Thank you in advance. :)

If we log in Manually the connection will drop with no activity. When we use automatic login the connection will stay up. We are on cm4.0
