We currently have the following setup.
DSL-ASA 5510-LAN
We are not running DHCP. All of our client computers have static IPs assigned.
The ASA is mainly used for VPN connections-VPN tunnel to parent company and internet gateway.
We want to implement DHCP but keep our current static ips in place. If we create another IP range/subnet, will we need to add a router onto our network in order to get the two subnets talking? If so where do we need to place it?

The ASA will route traffic between its own subnets. Are you planning on using a server of some type to hand out DHCP? If so, you will need to forward the dhcp requests if the server is to hand out addresses ion both subnets.
