I'm designing a network with a ASA 5510.
I wanted to have the wireless network outside the network on the DMZ but I'm not sure how to go about setting it up. Any advice?

Also what are some inexpensive access points that are compatible?

Thanks.

Any access point will work. I prefer Cisco because I know them and well, I worked hard for my certs. Shop around and get the best price for the features that you want - WPA(2), AAA, a/b/g/n, etc.

When attached to the DMZ, they will have complete access to the internet unless you have specifically restrict it. For devices in the DMZ, you will need to specifically allow access to devices on the internal network. You do this exactly the same way you allowed access to the internal network from the internet. (static statements and ACL's applied to teh interface.)

Here is the master list of config examples.

If you need further help or have other questions, just post. People here are very helpful and pretty fast to respond.

Good luck.
