Hello technical wizards,
I’m trying to set up two ASA 5510s for the first time. These are my goals;
1. To have remote management access to the devices from both the LAN and the Internet.

2. To have active/standby configured between the two 5510s.

3. To set up a site to site VPN from my two ASA 5510s to a 3rd party customer.

4. To allow certain IP addresses (servers) traverse the VPN from my LAN to the remote LAN.

5. To allow certain IP addresses (3rd party Servers) traverse the VPN from the remote side of the VPN onto my LAN.

Can anyone suggest some sample configs?
Which is easier to use CLI or ASDM?

Many thanks,

i can help you out, but it'll have to wait till later this evening since there's a lot to go over.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

OK great thanks for your help.

I've completed steps 1. and 2. sucessfully in the meantime :)

Having some problems allowing traffic through the ASA now though :-(
