hi folks, i am receiving 'E3511 Unable to begin database backup. EC=-1' when arcserve attempts to backup its own database. everything else included in the backup job is writing to tape ok.
contacted arcserve support and they said run a database repair and pack. i did this and it reported no errors but the msg went away for a few days. when the error returned, i again did the repair and pack (no errors reported) but E3511 won't go away now.
i am afraid i may need to initialize the database and start from scratch. any other suggestions?
