Hello there !
We are experiencing 2 problems with our IFS.
The IFS is structured in subdirectories per users. If one users maps the sub of another and open a READ-ONLY file there using Notepad for example, when he quits the Notepad without saving (the file is READ ONLY because it's not it's own IFS subdir), it appears that the modification date is resetted to 29th december 1980 !
It has also appeared that this problem only happens to Windows 2000 clients. The Win NT and Win 98 clients don't have that problem.
It also happened that files created within the IFS by the AS/400 have 1 hour time difference with the real time. We checked that either the PC AND the AS/400 were set at the right time, and they were....
If anyone has got clues on those probs, we would enjoy sharing them
Thanks in advance.
Best regards to all readers.
