Hello, I'm a newbie to AS400 and have a Question about
Host Print Transform and related drivers.

On my AS400 I configured a HP4050 via Port 9100 and IBMPJLDRV as well as with the HPPJLDRV. When I print a e.g. 15 page document to the HP, the AS400 tells me, the job was already printed, but the HP is still printing. If there is any error with the job, there will be no message on the AS400. Is this the intended behaviour? Or am I missing some configuration?

Thanks in advance,
Molith

It is because when the "spoolfile" is gone from the AS400,,, it thinks it is thru. Even thought the printer may have the report in it's internal memory,, and still be printing for several more pages. When you checj the outq, and "see it gone",, then the machine, thinks it has printed.
