AS400 DATE QUESTION

I am using SQL2000 using linked server to an as400. in my openquery statement i would like to know how I can get records returned for only the current date and the current date -1...

i have tryed Now(), Date(), CurDate() I keep getting an invlaid token returned...

Can someone help with this?
