I often have two AS400 client sessions open at the same time, one pointing to test, and the other pointing to production. I always modify the text color of the test session so that I can easily tell which session I am looking at.

Is there anyway to create a macro that will automate this? I tried recording a macro, but that only captures keystrokes, and this involves navigating through menus and dialog boxes that require mouse clicks, so the macro recorder cannot capture it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think you can run a macro but I do the same thing and have several sessions saved. A saved session saves all of the colors and other attribute settings.

To save a session:

File -> Save As

Give it a name with a .ws extension.
