I created an swf in Flash CS5 which plays successfully from the original file on drive c, but shows blank screen when loaded from a web site or another computer.
The swf was created using AS3, importing an flv video with a short AS3 script setting up navigate to URL at end of video. However, even without the script, the swf file fails to load properly on other computers. On an iMAC (OS 10.5) the swf icon appears as Adobe Illustrator, even though it is clearly not an Illustrator file, and of course it doesn't open in Illustrator.
What can be done to make the swf video transportable for others to view? The swf will not load in YouTube, which returns error that the codec is not supported.
Thanks
