I am continually having sharing violations with files that aren't even open. Especially hidden system (thumbs.db) files on one XP pro machine. What would be my best solution to clear these errors without having to constantly delete the 'thumbs.db' files missing other data files......perhaps BAOF??? and if so, what's the cost gonna be

If it is the same files each time and you don't care if they get backed up then an exclude filter can be used.
