AS2000 Hangs while backing up asobject.005

I have ArcServe 2000, BAOF and DR agents installed on a WinNT 4 Server with sp6a.

All goes well until the backup reaches asobject.005, where it hangs for up to 48 hours. The file is 0 bytes in size and I do not have this problem on any other server. The backup completes, it just takes a lot longer than it should.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, using a new tape, cleaning the drive (an HP SureStore dat 40i). I have also initialised all the databases and deleted any temporary files created by ArcServe, as per the CA websites online help. The job has been set up and re-created multiple times.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This issue has now been resolved. We opened the InoculateIT 4.53 realtime manager, clicked "secure scan" and checked the boxes named "Allow fast backup" and "report username". The backup worked OK after this.
