AS2000 backing up from Member Server to W2K DC

Here is what i have: ArcServe 2000 SP4 installed on W2K Domain Controller. Network is mixed mode with One DC and two NT 4 BDCs. I can DO a normal backup from and restore to these NT machines without any issues.

However, i have a NT 4 member server (web server) on the network which is Not a part of any domain. When i try to backup Data from this member server, the Backup rate is Unacceptably slow. So slow that it averages about 0.25 Mb/minute.

It used to be just fine before the W2K upgrade.
Again, the upgrade did not affect the other NT BDC servers, only this member server.

Is this any special configuration required for this setup?

Any pointer will be much appreciated and helpful.
