good morning

I need configurated the opcions the parnet announcement for example:

"Thank you for calling ABC Supermarket.
If you know the two-digit extension you want and are at a touch-tone
phone, please dial it now.
For Customer Service, press 1 now...
For the Bakery, press 2 now...
For the Deli Corner, press 3 now...
Or hold for the operator...

I know to record the message. but as it forms the options in the menu.

I'm not 100% sure what your question is.

Are you asking how to record the prompt (the message people hear when they call in) or are you asking how to set up the Selector Codes (what the telephone system does when a caller presses a button) [ponder]

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

good morning

My question is about how to set up the Selector Codes (what the telephone system does when a caller presses a button) Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Alrighty.

The next question I have is which voicemail system is being used? If it is an Avaya/Lucent/AT&T voicemail, it could be:

1) Partner Messaging
2) Partner Voice Messaging.
3) Partner Mail VS
4) Avaya Partner Messaging

When you log in as the Administrator, the system tells you what it is.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Acs realease 3.0 (or later)

sorry for my bad english

Oh dear. [sad]

I've never worked with the ASA/DXD card so I'm going to be very limited with my help.

Hang tight. There are several great people who contribute to this forum.

They should be able to assist you further. [smile]

If you want to use selector codes your going to have to get a voice mail unit, the ASA/DXD will only answer your calls and allow direct ext transfer when enabled, depending on your needs even a PC mail would give you the selector code option, just remember not to use selector codes that corespond to your ext #'s, example- SC1 if you use it then that stops direct ext transfer to ext's 10-19 and up the line!

hi,how do you do that? configurate permit the tranfer of call.

sorry por mi bad english

With DXD, you don't have to configure anything. Just record a message with Intercom 892, assign the lines to be answered with #205, the number of rings before answering with #112, and put a DXD button on Ext. 10 with #113.

Once you turn the feature ON, and record a message, calls will be answered, your message will play, and the caller can dial a 2-digit extension number and it will transfer to the desired phone. If the caller presses 0 or nothing at all, it will transfer to Ext. 10.
