AS install / GUIDE

the object here is to work with portal, so i need to set everything up. It appears that i need to setup AS infrastructure, BI and forms and DS. I have installed the infrastructure declared a home, instance and login. I then logged into OEM via a browser (

http://<hostname>:1810/)

with the specified login.
Then i went to install the BI and forms and DS but now I can not login to OEM via a browser with any login. I tried system/oem_temp, i tried my specified login ias_admin/oracle1, i even tried a login that i had created in sql but i can not login via the browser with that either, although i can through the oem gui (start - programs - orahome - oem).

What has gone wrong here? Am I on the right track? Do you have any resources for what i am trying to do (on windows)??? I am doing my best to pull all the resources on the web, oracles documentation seems to jump around alot and make alot of assumptions...PLEASE HELP!

BTW I am attempting to use the oracle by example documents to set up my system and i am also attempting to fill in the gaps by using oracles product documentation.

Hi, I don't think I can help with your specific problem other that to suggest a re-install. If it's of any help here is a link to a document I put together when I was installing Oracle9ias/forms which may contain some useful stuff for you.
