AS/400 won't accept 5MB messages - why? 1

We have changed the channel and queue definitions at both ends to allow max message lengths of 10MB, I have tested this successfully with an end-to-end test between 2 AIX boxes, but we cannot deliver to an AS/400.

The error basically states that the remote QManager cannot accept the message, not much more than that. All related APARS were applied on recommendation by IBM, still no luck. Smaller 1MB files are no problem.

The QMGR also has a Option MAXMSGL;

have a look at AS/400 "display qmgr maxmsgl".

Thanks, missed that one. As it was our AIX boxes were set to a default of 10MB for the QManager.
