We have several remote sites that are connected to a central office via ISDN. Our AS400 sends output to printers at these remote sites. Over the last few months, I have seen the ISDN call costs rise sharply - from hundreds to thousands and have been told that the AS400 'polls' the print devices which keeps the line up (interesting traffic). Is there a system value that I could turn off to avoid the AS400 dialing out for these extended periods.
