We recently started getting the following error on our AS/400 in QSYSOPR.
"COM0308 received by procedure CED810ZB." With the following information, "Cause . . . . . :ILE Control language (CL)procedure CED810ZB in module CED810ZB in program CED810ZB in library EDI4XXPGM detected an error at statement number 0000034900. Message text for COM0308 is: Communications session 0330506112 is in use. Unable to process request."
This job is doing an import into the EDI mailbox from a file that was received via FTP. The process used to work fine with an occasional error but now it is happening two or three times a day. We don't have the source for this program, so I can't find the statement in error. We also no longer have support for TrustedLink EDI/400 V2.
I have looked at the communication sessions in TrustedLink but 0330506112 is not listed. Every time we get this error it has a different com session number and that number is never listed in the communication session status screens.
Has anyone else come across this error? If so how did you resolve it?
Thanks, Bryon.
