I'm installing a WLAN, initially for the purpose of using IP phones in a hospital setting, but later on I will use it for public access, laptops, etc.

Vendor has given me three quotes for AP's: One from Cisco, one from Aruba and one from Nortel. Nortel is looking to be the cheapest route, but my NW Engineer says Aruba is better.

Any opinions on these?

We have used Aruba for the past 9 months and been real pleased. We have not had any problems with it.

I'd stick with either Aruba or Cisco... I don't get that warm and fuzzy feeling with Nortel and when you have to think to yourself "Nortel does wireless?", it's cause for a pause.
