Artificial Intelligence or Machine Intelligence?

What is it called these days? Why?
I heard in 'My own development as a professional' that apparently it was called MI nowadays.. ?

I think it depends on who you ask, but I prefer the term artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is the study what intelligence actually is or perhaps how thought processes work. I think it's more about the abstract concepts and understanding of intelligence. Machine intelligence, in my opinion, is more about how those abstract concepts can be simulated, or otherwise implemented, on machines.

AI is "how to think"
MI is "how to program a machine using the concepts of AI"
