I have an S8700/G650 installed ?

I have 2 ISDN PRI access (trunk).

I use 8 as a ARS DAC.

Customer want:

extensions 7900 to 7920 use first access (trunk1) for the outgoing calls

Extensions 8000 to 8010 use second accees (trunk2) for outgoing calls.

Please How I can do it ?

many thanks

This is a job for FRL's. Make sure that the 7XXX extensions have a FRL that match the PRI you want them to use. The same goes for the 8XXX extensions. Now just let it be known that if the one extension range has a higher FRL IE 8XXX use FRL 8 and the 7XXX use FRL 7 If all of the PRI circuits are busy for the 8XXX range it could use the 7XXX PRI. But in contrast if all of the 7XXX range PRI is busy the users will get busy signals.

I hope this makes sense

Route patterns detriment which trunk group is used for the dialed number to be routed over.

Setting the FRL will stop a extension from using a trunk group, but then you would be restricting the would be able to call.

More then likely you will need to setup additional tenet groups within the system. This will give you more then one location. Using that you would be able to setup unique ARS tables for each location, as well as unique route patterns. That way any extension in location 2 would use ARS location 2, and the route patterns for that to route the calls over the correct trunk groups.
