SCN using ARS. All systems are 500's on 4.0 (5). It was working fine last week after implementation (ran tests & watched traces). Now all of sudden it is not going out the IP lines, but the local lines and of course causing LD charges. Regular calls btwn sites working fine as are the inbound (they use a centralized operator) and all local calls from each site. Any thoughts? I've checked the table & it looks happy to me.

Erase the semicolon in the following shortcodes:

Wont that make it dial as soon as it hits those numbers? so once you dial 1843974 then it will send the call and not let any more digits be dialed

There is no N at the end so i presume that the shortcode is the whole number to send to the IP Line.

intrigrant - Doesn't work without the semicolon

I see your point Intrigrant. Maybe had he put an N before the : then that would have worked also. It was never looking for more digits.

These numbers are meaningless to me so i did not know these were incomplete numbers, nice that you solved it yourself.
However, the semicolon only makes sense if you use a N in the shortcode, if you use XXX to complete the number of dialled digits the semicolon only slows down calling these numbers.

intrigrant,
I had tried it with the N, without the semi-colon, and everyother logical way. The numbers were working and then decided to quit. This was the only way I could get it to work. What's really curious is that before the client changed carries about two weeks ago, it was working with even simpler codes such as below. When they switch carriers, I had to add all the NPA info, then a yesterday (a week later) it became completely uncooperative until I put in the codes mentioned above....

No it DID suddenly stop. The change in carriers was last week, and it was working then, and all week after. It decided to malfunction yesterday.
