we have 2 3300 systems in a Cluster, both have their own trunks, we would like to get each one shared its trunks with the other, meaning when all system A's trunks busy the call step over to system B and take a free trunk from the free ones there,

I made a route list for this with the required COR for the route, but did not work,

the two switches connected through XNET IP trunks and both have Rel 5.0 SP1

Any Idea to get this worked

Have you tested your trunking between both systems first? Meaning, can you call extension XXXX on system B from system A and extension YYYY on system A from system B?
Also, what didn't work? What does it do when you do a test call? And what kind of test did you do for it to not work?
With MCD 5+, trunking two 3300s together is more straight forward than ever due to the Direct IP route feature.

Are the systems in the same calling area? Do you need to modify the digits to dial out of the other system.

Does the COR of the IP trunk allow it to make external calls?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

You might need COS options to allow the IP trunks access to the trunks on the other switch ( Public to PSTN ). Do you have traveling COS/COR on in the system options? Otherwise the COR assigned to the IP Trunks at the far end determine the access.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Thanks a lot to all of you, I've set already all what was told here, i am still unable to pick any trunk from the other switch, the COR of the Ext & the IP trunks allow to make External calls, the COS of the Ext. & Trunk allow to make calls via DPNSS & Public to Public trunk connections, the Interconnect does not restrict calls from the Ext to the IP trunk, but still giving me Toll Denial Restriction message (programmed locally in the system).

Any other idea?

This sounds like a COR restriction. Export your COR setup and then clear the table. That will prove if your issue is COR or COS related. The message on the phone display is Barred, is it not? That message is only given if this is COS/COR related.

Assuming both sites have similar external numbering plans and same access codes
Have you tried adding lists with the 2nd choice the xnet trunk with a dm pattern that does not strip the access code?

eg user on site B dials 0+xxxxxxxx

trunks on site b are busy , 2nd choice is xnet to site a , digit mod does not strip access code but sends 0+xxxxxxxx to site A

call arrives at site a and Site a ars looks at digits dialled and selects appropriate rt

you may end up with an issue if trunks at both sites are busy

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Unfortunately still the problem exist, I have removed all restriction on the Ext, the trunk and the interconnect, could it be option or license issue?

Simplify first then expand

Create a DISA number on the other system that matches your extension length. (Form = System Access Ports - Used to be Miscellaneous)

Dial the Cluster ID of the remote system and the disa number - Do you get dial tone?

If you get dial tone, can you dial out of the remote system using the normal ARS method (As if you were there)

Thanks, let me clarify one thing, i have no problem calling from system A 2 B from day 1,
the problem is only up when system must go over 2 B when its trunks are busy, this only not work.
