I would like to find out what is the best way to set up ARS for this customer.

Customer says this is how their system has been working since initial installation.

1. To make local calls - 68 + account code # 9 and 7 digit number. eg 68 234 # 9 4944742

2. Intl. calls 9 country code + area code + the number. You will be prompted to "Enter Number" , this number will either be the client/matter number for billable calls or the non-billable number - 02000199#.

eg. 9 1 441 295 2244 02000199

At present I have one trunk group that is used for local and intl calls.

I might be missing something but I don't understand the question.

Are you saying this is how it works now and this is what the customer wants. If so if it ain't broke...

Be more specific in what you are looking for otherwise.

What the customer is saying is that it no longer works that way since last visit from a technician.I have no idea how it was set up.

Sorry to be a pain but what part is missing

You have now told us how it should work and advised that it doesn't. Still no indication yet as to what part is broken.

E.g. Call sequence is this and should work like that but when this is done (Fill in the Blank) happens.

So what no longer works?

Scenario 1 sounds is using account codes, so you'd want to check the FAC, COS, and Account Code forms.

In scenario 2, it sounds like the telco is asking for the account code, about the only thing that the PBX controls there is how many digits are dialed in ARS. Check the "Digits to follow" field for the appropriate ARS line, and I think there's a COS option that comes into play as well.
