Hi,

I have three systems in an SCN and centralized VM. The two remote sites have 2 copper lines as the first choice in the ARS to dial out and I want an overflow to the IP trunk and use the PRI in the main site. I thought it was going to work but I get a “waiting for Line” if the copper trunks are in use and it doesn’t overflow.

I am running 4_2_17 and do not have advanced SCN licenses. Any ideas

put the wait timer shorter then default 30 sec, put it on 5 sec or so. And then indeed wait for line after 5 sec it should dial out.

That's how I have it set now but it still says waiting for line. Do you think I have to insert the "9" in the shortcode to the main site?

Yes you need to send the digits to the other site and be sure that the other site gets the required digits to dial out properly

ACS - Implement IP Office
ACA - Implement IP Telephony -- ACA - Design IP Telephony
ACA - Voice Services Management

Site 2;

You have added an ARS called "breakout" so from the main ARS put that in the "Alternate Route"

Add a SC in the ARS;

Code; N (or 9N 0N depends on the local)
TelN; *99N (the *99 + Nr is sent to a SC on the other site)
Feat; Dial
LGid; SCN Outgoing id

Site1;

Add an ARS called "from site2"

Add a SC in the ShortCodes;

Code; *99N
TelN; N (Now the *99 is stripped off)
Feat; Dial
LGid; New or Main ARS (depending on the CLI you want to sent)

It can be done easier but this way you can easy lookback in the traces from wich site they are calling out.

Thanks Guys,

I will try these and let you know how I make out. I also should have mentioned that the two remote sites only the standard edition not professionallicense, but I don't think that matters. They do have the voice networking channels and everything else is working.
