Merlin Legend 7.0, hybrid mode, programming with WinSPM v9.

Trying to get all local calls to the 555 exchange to get remapped to another provider's DA service. We're having the LD provider block access to the 555 exchange on their end.

ARS tables (based for Houston TX) :

1] 6-digit 713, 555 to pool 890 (local), FRL 0, 11-digit absorption, 11 digits substituted.
2] 6-digit 281, 555 to pool 890 (local), FRL 0, 11-digit absorption, 11 digits substituted.
3] 6-digit 832, 555 to pool 890 (local), FRL 0, 11-digit absorption, 11 digits substituted.

All three of these work perfectly.

4] Exchange 555 to pool 890 (local), FRL 0, 11-digit absorption, 11 digits substituted.

This one does not work. You dial 9 then any non-1 number and it immediately selects the default local route.

16] Area Codes 800, 866, 877, 888 to pool 890 (local), FRL 3, no digit correction.

This one works perfectly as well.

Phones are set at FRL 3, as are default local and LD routes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The way I understand it, the ARS is not used unless 1 is dialled. Since we have 10 digit dialling here in Philly, and I wanted to force all users to dial the 1 to use ARS (even though they don't have to dial it at home), I had to deny any dialling without the leading 1.

My understanding is that the "9" (ARS Access Code) should trigger using the ARS tables. At least, that's what the WinSPM documentation states.

right, if you want to force people to dial out over the tables you need to set up all local exchenges in the 16 tables and remove the pools from the local dial-out table. Unless...you upgrade to a Magix R2.2, then that rule does not apply anymore.....no need for the 1.

Sounds like my best bet is to remap 1-713-555-1212 to the new number and have the local provider block Directory Assistance as well!

Thanks all for the help!
