Before I spend time researching this myself I thought I'd first ask to see if someone else has already done it. :) You know how you can (in a Definity/Communication Manager) use ARS Digit Conversion to alter what someone dials?...change the number into a totally different number. Can this be done in the Merlin Legend? Release 7. I'd like to take a toll free number someone dials and change it into a toll number of my choice before the calls goes out to the Telco.

Thanks

I saw that but the problem appears to be you can only define an ARS entry with a max of 6 digits. I need to define a complete 11 digit number....which I can't seem to do in the Legend.

The Legend/Magix ARS is a simple ARS. It does not provide the full flexibility of a REAL ARS, which would give that kind of capability. Switches like NT Meridian1 and Siemens SATURN provide that level of flexibility! Most manufacturers these days don`t want to spend the time and money to offer that kind of ARS, since very few really use multiple routes or trunk groups anymore. They just want to sell gadgets and the phone-of-the-month club.

I must ask, do you really?

That is, how many numbers do they dial that match the last 4 or 5 digits only?

I would think that the number you want to filter is unique within the 6 digit parameter.

That being said, exactly what are you trying to match?

Knowing that could give us a clue.
