Hi All,

Problem in A2k2: I've got many reports that are designed to print data and have used the "draw-line" tool to make the report look more professional. The end result looks like the data was printed into (or superimposed onto) a separate form that was fed single-page style into the printer (but really, the report itself generates the whole thing from 1 blank page). Very handy, usually.

I recently upgraded to Windows XP and A2k2 (from 97) and now my reports are in 'funky print" mode. The data I mentioned above still prints appropriately, and where it should, but the lines that make up the "background" (lines) of the printed report are acting strangely. Imagine taking all the "background" lines off of the printed page, shrinking them by a factor of 4, and then putting them back onto the printed page in miniature in the upper left hand corner of the printed page. That's what is happening. To further confound things, the on-screen print-preview displays normally! (i.e. background lines and data line up as they should)

Any suggestions? I don't have much hair left...
Thanks, NeoEco

Hi,

You will have different 'default' fonts for the op. sys., you'll have different drivers for your printer (for the op. sys).

Get the printer driver set correctly first (for your new op. sys), then look at the default op. sys. fonts.
