I made a report with a group header named Position. For the Position group header, I want to specify the order within a particular position in the report.
One of the positions I want to arrange is called Team.
I want the team members to go in a specific order, starting from the lead team member, to whoever is next in command, to the last member. Since the entire report is based according to the different Positions and then according to last name, I can't get those under the Position 'Team' in the order I need them in.
Any help on achieving this is greatly appreciated.

I can't understand your question. Is there any way that you could take the time to type in some sample records and identify how you would like them grouped and sorted? Grouping and sorting requires a value in a field that describes the order.

I have two headers: one is City, the other is Position.
I have the entire report sorted according to the City, then Position, and finally, alphabetically according to LastName. So it would look like this:

City----------->New York
Position------->Team1
LastName----->Doe, John
Floe, Jane
Moe, Adam
Slow, Jack

But I want those under Team1 to be in the order I specify, according to a field called Title. Like so:
Title
City----------->New York
Position------->Team1
LastName----->Slow, Jack Leader
Moe, Adam Sub-Leader
Floe, Jane MemberA
Doe, John MemberB

I hope this helps.

Set up another sort order per below. Then make the LastName section invisible and the Rank visible when Position = Team1. Otherwise make the LastName section visible and the Rank section invisible.
City----------->New York
Position------->Team1
LastName------->Doe, John
Floe, Jane
Moe, Adam
Slow, Jack
Rank----------->Leader (Slow,Jack)
Sub-Leader (Moe, Adam)
MemberA (Floe, Jane)
MemberB (Doe, John)
There's something in the back of my mind that tells me you MIGHT get funky results, but logically I can't figure out what it might be.
