Good Day everyone
I currently have set up a DMZ server that runs our web site and allows users to telnet into our system using SUSe Linux - I have also set up a HA (HeartBeat) server in case of failure of the main.
Both servers have their own IP addresses and share a Virtual IP address. the problem I am having is the ARP
table in our sonic wall (4060 enhanced) - Do to the fact that it maps to the MAC address of the servers card I cannot gain access to the HA server when there is a failure
(and visa-versa when it comes back onb line) unless I flush the ARP table. Is there anyway around this - like assigning 1 IP address to 2 MAC addresses in the ARP table?
Thanks for your reply
