aria 300 voice mail probs

Hi. I have an Aria 300 that has stopped sending inband signalling to an external voicemail. not all inband it still sends option 9 which is 5 stars all other settings do not send. I have tried resetting the system, reprogramming the hunt group, reinitialising the hunt groups and changing the inband programming all to no avail.I have even swapped analogue cards.
Any suggestions.

Did you check the common grounding, the serial cable (connect to pc with hyperterminal to see if character are spotted on the screen, when calling the VM number).
Also use ferrite cores to avoid noise etc.

This has analogue extns to v/mail.
I had to default the system, set v/mail group, test for inband signalling ( worked ok), then reload customer data. It now works ok again.
