argument [2] is an invalid or uninitialized number

The only info I've found on this error suggests I "Use a valid number..."

I could have guessed that. One question that will help narrow it down, is "argument[2]" referring to the 3rd parameter or the 2nd? Meaning, is that like an array

argument[0]
argument[1]
argument[2]

Is this straight PL/SQL or forms/reports? This points to an invalid parameter value in a procedure call, but I usually see this in forms.
 
Please post the code this came from so we have some context to work with.

I have seen similar errors if I declare a PL/SQL table but do not include the INDEX BY ... clause in the declaration. However, without any frame of reference, I cannot tell if this is even a possibility for your situation!
