argh! my comp wont allow pop ups...

its really not cool... dont have any programs like pop up stoppers, but when a pop up occurs, which at times i actually want to occur, the page doesnt load... the bar doesnt say its loading... and yo can leave for an hour and it wouldnt have started to load... im not sure if its the javascript that wont allow it to work or something... need help because i cant even post on the microsoft forum because i need a pop up to post...
plz i need help on this asap, any ideas??

Internet Explorer is not the only browser available. Put in a copy of Netscape and see what happens. It should help isolate where the problem is, operating system or browser... and when you do find out what is stopping the pop-ups, please let me know. I certainly wouldn't want my pop-ups stopped like that, nope, not me, we all love popups...
