Guys, we had an area code change from 616 to 269. Is there an easy way to change the prefixs to point to the new area code, or do I have to enter each one into the PBX? Also, what do I need to do for the sites that are in the old area code, we have two sites that are in the 616 area code.

To check area codes in the Meridian go to LD90

REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRAN ac1 (ac-1) is the access code
TYPE npa (area code)
NPA 1909 (1+area code)
RLI 6
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

To add a new area code:
REQ new
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRAN ac1
TYPE npa
NPA 1951
RLI 6
SDRR
ITEI

if your area code changed you might also have to go into your CLID table and change any info there you are sending out.
